Joaquina specializes in a variety of traditional Mexican dishes, snacks, and drinks, with new daily specials available everyday. Their menu boasts everything from esquites and molletes to tamales, tortas, elotes, nachos, crepes, and a diverse selection of fresh juices. Every dish is made to order, ensuring the freshest flavors in every bite.
Stepping inside, you’re immediately greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance that blends the charm of a café with the comfort of a neighborhood coffee shop. The friendly staff are more than happy to guide you through the menu, providing thoughtful descriptions of each item.
During my visit, I tried the Tostiesquites – a delightful combination of esquites (Mexican street corn) served over crispy, flavorful tortilla chips. This dish is the perfect balance of savory, creamy, and crunchy. I also had the molletes, an open-faced sandwich on warm, toasted bread topped with creamy refried beans and fresh pico de gallo. You can customize your molletes with eggs, beef, or chicken, and trust me, the combination of flavors is simply mouthwatering.

For dessert, the crepes looked absolutely irresistible, offering a sweet finish to an already fantastic meal. With such an incredible selection, Joaquina Mexican Snacks is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots on the Westside.
