Renovation work continues on historic Fisher Mansion

Long a quiet landmark along the Jordan River Trail, the Fisher Mansion and its Carriage House are undergoing ongoing restoration as the city works to preserve their historic character and stabilize the structures for the future. Built in 1893 and later recognized for its architectural and cultural significance, the site has faced years of wear — including damage from the 2020 earthquake — prompting extensive repairs and protective measures. While the mansion remains closed, the Carriage House has found new life as a community-oriented space, reflecting early possibilities for how the property could eventually serve the public. As restoration continues alongside broader improvements to the Jordan River corridor, the future of this Westside landmark is beginning to take shape.
