Groundbreaking held for new Power District

In late October 2025, city leaders, members of The Larry H. Miller Company, and residents of Salt Lake City gathered to witness the official groundbreaking for the Power District. The 100-acre mixed-use development, located on the southeast corner of Redwood Road and North Temple, will eventually be home to Rocky Mountain Power headquarters and an entertainment district. The area is also a prime location for a potential new stadium, designed by The Larry H. Miller Company with professor baseball (MLB) in mind. The site is also slated to offer 4,700 housing units, 300 hotel rooms, and roughly 320,000 sq. ft of retail space.

This project will be a major investment in the Westside, with the first phase expected to be completed sometime in 2027.
