Cafe Plov & Borsch brings Eurasian flavors to Westside

Cafe Plov & Borsch opened its doors near Redwood Road and North Temple in the summer of 2025. Part full-service restaurant, part specialty market, Cafe Plov & Borsch offers unique Eurasian flavors and goods not widely available in Utah. Owners Zhazira Begaly and Kakisheva Gulnara were approved for funding through Salt Lake City’s Economic Development Loan Fund and are grateful for the opportunity to use the funding to share their passions and cultures with the community. Dine in or grab something from the market that’s sure to excite your taste buds.
