As the year winds down, we’re feeling grateful for all that 2025 has brought to the Westside and to The West View. From stories that celebrate the Westside’s local restaurants to features on accessibility, sustainability, and community resilience, we’ve had the privilege of keeping you in the loop on all that is happening in our community.

In fact, The West View has been a cornerstone of Westside community journalism for roughly 15 years, bringing you local stories, amplifying diverse voices, and fostering connections. As we look ahead to 2026, we’re focused on telling the story of the Westside. Your support powers our ability to continue to publish The West View. 

The changing seasons also marks the start of our end-of-year fundraising campaign, and we invite you to consider The West View when deciding where to give back this year. From now until December 31, every donation to The West View will be matched dollar for dollar through NewsMatch, a nationwide campaign that supports nonprofit newsrooms like ours.
